Time was running out - yet for some reason I wandered around on this page and did very little. I was so stuck for where to end this I wasted valuable space saying nothing. I do like the reaction panels at the end though.

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags:
So you can tell here I didn't know where the plot was headed - I was just having fun messing with my own characters. Panel 4 should have been was more extreme - like the muzzle right up to the ear. But then it probably wouldn't work given the simpleshapes. Also, I love that last panel. Cool spaceship and the dialogue sums up the whole comic. ^^

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags: space morph alien planet SF weine abducted
This last page was drawn in half an hour and completed just in time. The rest were drawn in about an hour or more - the first few took about 2 and a half because I started drawing hanging out at a friends place. Then I went home after page 4 when he fell asleep...then I went home and fell asleep too.

Anyway, the Grand Master Weinie is awesome - he looks even better on paper. So happy with the character designs in this one. The last two panels aren't bad either. Panel 2 was rushed though. Oh and that dialogue is just crammed in there because I wasted space on the last page. Oh well. All in all I'm happy with this one for the humour, character designs and weinies.

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags:
By far my favourite page of the whole comic. You can see in panel 4 where there was once a speech bubble. It did say "there's...nothing" - but that's totally not needed. It's far better to just show there's nothing. And then I thought I'd play with a total lack of dialogue and had fun with messing with the hot dog man and drawing those adorable weinies. Those panels rock, if I do say so myself. ^^

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags: space ufo alien awkward planet Home Outer weinie
Weiniemorphics (page 4) by Kyle

I just noticed how odd it is to have an "anthro" catagory on a furry website. I mean, aren't all works going to be anthropomorphic? I'm a word geek, so don't try telling me anthro refers exclusively to bipedal humanoid animals. It don't. ^^

So, it's interesting how this one evolved - seeing as the comic all happens as I go with very little planning. I started off with the first panel because I wante more cat-weinie and because I knew there was going to be background plot - I just didn't know what. So I stalled some more by going for basics and explaining who they are - then I realised that it was obvious...and it all went from there.

It's so sadistically cute when the Weinie King is munching on rabbit-weinie. Love it. But what the hell is up with that last panel. I'm an animator - you'd think I'd be able to draw a guy running way better than that. I should have re-drawn that one. Oh well.

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags: cat dog alien king hot cannibal weinie comikaze
Woah, I feel a little abashed to upload this. Despite the merger (or has that not happened just yet?) Artspots still has a very high standard of art. I love the crap out of these comics - but they were drawn quickly in a day and without time to ink them.

Anyhow, at the start of this one I wasn't sure where I was going. I wanted to have some David Bowie in there and get out of the first scene for a bit. Then the idea of the weinie being an alien came to mind and it went from there.
Also, totally digging cat-weinie's introduction here - especially the constrasting dialogue and that final panel where he has that neat shadow in front of him.

Medium: Paper + pencil
Tags: cat dog ufo morphic alien hot weinie
So I took part in this years Comikaze 24 hour comic challenge - where you create an 8, 16 or 24 page comic in a single 24 hour period. This was the result.

I'm totally proud of all the character designs in this comic - except for that kid. What the hell. I was going for insanely cute...then something went wrong. That's why he runs out in the last panel. I was sick of drawing him. ^^

How To Draw A Dolphin by Kyle

For the second showcase performance of Yiff! the musical (Youtube search it!) a few characters were added. One of them was a dolphin. Dolphins are tricky to draw because of those damn noses of theirs, so I spent a bit of time surfing the internet for dolphin art guides. This was one of them. It wasn't helpful, but it was amusing at least.

Oh, and the final product reminds me of Tim Molloy's art, so I coloured it similar to one of his characters, called Impy. Check Tim @ Deviant art: http://timmolloy.deviantart.com/

Medium: Digital (Flash)
Tags: monster dolphin of nature guide how to freak
For the second showcase performance of Yiff! the musical (Youtube search it!) a few characters were added. One of them was a dolphin. Dolphins are tricky to draw because of those damn noses of theirs, so I spent a bit of time surfing the internet for dolphin art guides. This was one of them. It wasn't helpful, but it was amusing at least.

Oh, and the final product reminds me of Tim Molloy's art, so I coloured it similar to one of his characters, called Impy. Check Tim @ Deviant art: http://timmolloy.deviantart.com/

Excuse Me by Kyle

Cute cat-mouse-dog critter I drew up. Excuse the slightly wonky anatomy in a few places.
Edit: Changed this to the grayscale version with shading. Looks much nicer.

Medium:
Tags: cat dog mouse critter exclamation
